Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hey lindsay...
Shawn is deployed on the USS Rodney M. Davis...and will not be back on US soil till Spring, We are hoping to visit him in WA when he returns.
Shawn is one year in the Navy....never thought a year ago he would be deployed...You don't know what's around the next corner with the NAVY, one moment at a time...

As for our next get together...March...mid march....just keep your browser tuned here....We all make the event together...

Diane is the one you'd want to check with on that. Thanks to her, I was able to meet some wonderful ladies 2 weeks ago. I think she's thinking in March. Our son says one moment he hates the cold, next minute that he likes it. Silly guy.

Hi Lindsay. Welcome to our group. Can't wait to meet you in our next get together. Our son is graduating BC this Friday (woohoo) and will be heading to PNS for his A school for 3 months.

Na....you will have such a GREAT time....its a vacation also, even though you are gonna freeze you a** off...LOL
sit back relax and enjoy your family being together, cause now that you are a NAVY family...those times are rare!

Thanks, Diane, for shipping those boxes off. March sounds good to me. I'll be whereever it is as long as I'm able (meaning unless I've found a job by then and would be working). Completely ready to see our Justin. Mike and the girls can't wait and Justin's really excited too. I know our time with him will be short but I hope it doesn't seem that way.

Oh got our boxes off friday.......hope the sailors love our boxes filled with Florida sunshine!

Pam, so glad you're feeling better. You had that back pain for quite a while. I feel for ya. I would've headed to my chiropractor-I couldn't have taken it as long as you did. Hope you stay upright and pain free!

its called "capping"----- "recruits" caps are removed and replaced with "Navy" caps..

Thanks for letting us know, Lynne. Congratulations on your sons graduation. They have a ceremony for that too, then I guess-right?
