comfort keeper -  check with the airlines - sometimes cheaper to switch the flight then buy refundable ticket-- my daughter got put on hold due to injury and graduation was not for another 6 weeks after original date - i decided to drive since we didnt have a PIR date till 2 weeks before ...

Comfortkeeper, did you get a "grad pack" yet? Which includes passes for base, graduation info etc. If you have NOT Received it, do not book a flight! I waited until I had all that information!...I did NOT book a refundable flight, its costly!...

IF you did get the grad pack, go ahead and book!..I am guessing by the PIR date of Feb 18, that you son left around christmas time?

Here is my email addy if want

My son's graduation date is Feb. 18.  I'm looking into booking a flight, but do you think it's safe to go ahead and book it now in case something goes wrong and the date is changed?  I can't seem to find refundable flights and the flight insurance doesn't seem to cover things like this.  Please let me know what you are doing about this or if you have suggestions.  Thanks!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!  My girl has been home for the holidays and will be going back to GL tomorrow.  Its been a busy week and honestly I am kind of looking forward to the calmness.   I got used to the peace and quiet, as much as I love the chaos..
