It sounds like how it went last week for us. As soon as the ceremony was over you took your pictures and he walked back to get the pictures about 40 min. and then we had him back by 815 that night. They took quite a few sailors all at once Sat at 1:30 am. They left at different times. He called me at 4 in the morning and said his plane left at 1:52pm. When we got to the airport he was able to get gate passes and we were able to sit with him until he left. It was nice. Even tho it snowed the one day it really wasn't that cold. :) We had fun...My husband works at UCF in financial aid.

Denise,
Hi, Wow, Congrats your almost there. My son graduated last weekend. We stayed at the LaQuinta in Bannuckburn (I think)...I would highly recommend. We received the military rates of $69 per nite which included 2 queen beds, fold out loveseat, fridge and microwave. It had a continental breakfast and it was very good. There was a racquet club next door that we were able to use because we were guests we just had to buy the racquetballs. It was lots of fun. The staff was very courteous!!!!! It was snowing on Sat and they gave us packets of hot chocolate and told us to use the machine which had hot water. Indoor pool and jacuzzi. We also ate at a restaurant not too far away called Flatlanders that was really good also. Make sure you take a roll of quarters for the Highway. I rented a car through Dollar midsize was $150 for the 4 days. Please email me I would love to help in any way possible. Sherrie

Hello everyone. I just wanted you to know Cory's PIR was last weekend 03/19/10. Amazing!!!! It was so nice to see him, He left for the airport at 2am, we were able to sit with him at the airport until his plane left at 2pm on Sat. He is onto his A school. He is very happy and is ready to begin.
