Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!
Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!
Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Diane, technical dummy talking to ya here. I went to my FB and typed (copied rather) Bring back Mollys Adopt a Sailor under friend search and I got nothing. I'd be happy to and want to join but if you could guide me I'll do it (I have no idea how I figured it out to be on Mollys group before-someone must've invited me and I just clicked it)

Jody, I didn't read any comment that would of made me think that you had anything to do with it!
Anyways, FB is sorting through all of this and it could take up to 2 weeks before it is back up..But if you belong to MAS on FB it is still a GROUP..click on your groups and it shows up!!!!

Hopefully I wasn't misunderstood by my comment before....I sure as heck didn't report Molly to FB and prob wouldn't even know how to report anyone anyways-nor would it be Molly for sure. I was just saying that in response to your comments about what happened to her I had wondered why I couldn't display it any longer. Your comments gave me an aha moment to let me know that I hadn't done something wrong.

Yeah, I was wondering where my Molly's group went off of my FB. I thought I did something wrong and hit delete by accident or something (I'm so not technically savvy) but mystery solved-it wasn't me that goofed. I'm sorry to hear she had troubles but glad to see she's back. Guess now I have to figure out how to add her back onto my personal FB.
