Beth, thanks for the addy. Clarification for us all....how many letters/cards should we send to your daughter. For example am I to send about 30 and put them in one envelope addressed to your daughter? Or what do you suggest? I'll work on what I want to say over the weekend and mail them out Monday.

Jking-I can relate to what you said about the 4th when you heard God bless the USA. My tears started the minute the opening song was played as I miss our son so very very much and it didn't feel right him not being here.

Happy monday all. I hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th. Had family and friends for a cook out. The only thing missing was my sailor. He has his 15 year anniversary next month. Doesn't seem like hes been a sailor that long.

Lynne, I noticed your sons birthday is coming up July 10th but the address you listed is in Clermont. Don't you want us to mail bday cards to him? Let us know so that I can get mine in the mail soon, okay.

Hi Sunlite53- We lived, and still do live, in Belle Isle, FL which is really Orlando. It is right beside Pine Castle and Conway. There are a lot of trees here (there were many more, however, before the hurricanes went through. We're right on the Conway chain of Lakes if that helps to know the area better.

Thanks, Terry. I'll check it out. Wonder if they would like a follow up story....you see our family was a 'CNN family' when the big 3 hurricanes hit in 2004. We lost our home and had to have it completely rebuilt. CNN stumbled upon us and filmed us 5 times then aired 3 of those. It was fun. However, our reporter, Jonathan Freed doesn't appear to be there anymore. That Christmas he sent presents to all 3 kids. Lil trivia there for you all.
