HI Cynthia....We have not put up the "get together" YET in the events...When it is up and going...You will be able to: go to the right hand side of the page, where the calander is and find the month and the day..click on it and all the events for that day will show up....Also as soon as we have everything all done I will post a link to the event...
But all in all...the 25th sounds perfect and Einsteins sounds perfect too.
I will make an event page soon....

Hope everyone is keeping cool and doing GREAT!!!

Diane, thanks so much for doing those boxes. I'm sure that's a lot of hard work and I would love to be a mouse in one of those boxes to see the looks on the sailors faces when they get them. Those things to us don't seem like much but for a sailor away from reality I'm sure everything they get is like getting the world.

Girls since we've been in so many parades ourselves over the years: girlscouts, boyscouts, my gym I'm thinking the registration fee won't be much if anything at all. It's just the goodies that will cost each of us and a trip to Sams or Costco will solve that. Sounds fun to me.

Hello girls,
Great news beth.....let me know...remember we still have 'some" $$ left from the boxes...about 50-60 dollars don't have the exact amount in my head..
anyways, just got finished wrapping up boxes for the Adopt a Sailor. The items I collect during our last get together are in the loot.....My company has really come through....I will load my pics and post them here..
Each box has an ORlando Sentinel in it, a post card, well believe me they will know that these boxes came from Central Florida...
Whoohooo.....

Thanks for doing this, Beth. Count me in (as much as I can tell). I've put it on my calendar.

Thank you Jody it has been a very hard week. I am really worried about my mom now they have been together for 55 years and she is just heart broken and very depressed. I don't know what to do for her to ease her pain.

I am so sorry Karen. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Received an email from my son and felt really bad because he is upset that we had to put my dad in a nursing home this week and he can't be here with us at this time. Its so hard at times like this when you can't be together. But I know he is here in thought with me. Can't wait til Sept. going to Italy to visit him and my daughter in law. After having him being gone for 15 years now you would think that it would get easier but it never does.

Lynne, I sooo agree with all you said. Didn't know that's how I felt until you typed it but it's makes perfect sense to me.
