Actually, Judy, I think you're nuts too-haha. I'm from Indiana. Lived there until I was 21 so that means I've been here in Orlando for 27 yrs-ergh am I really that old?! It's too blasted cold up there in the Chicago area and not nearly as pretty. Yes being close to your son would be wonderful but he'll return to you.

Welcome Judy! Bless your heart, I was in your shoes about 6 months ago. It was hard-but we all made it thru. I hope you're going to be able to make it to his PIR (graduation from boot camp). It's the most awesome ceremony you've ever seen.

Hi Becky. That's where he and my husband are driving him to now as we speak-Whidbey Island. Diane, I know your son is in WA is that where he's at too? Justin knows not a soul out there. None of his buddies got that station. Justin is an IT. He'll be working with/on airplanes. I remember how upset you were when you found out the news of your son going to Iraq. How long will he be there? Justin's job will take him to intl destinations of different places for 3 weeks at a time so we have some concern also but know that God is always there. I pray for all our sailors and, we, the parents and families.

Thanks, Ingrid. They called about 8pm. They'd just gotten to El Paso. Didn't stay anywhere last night just kept driving. Tonight they got a hotel (thank God). They're both wiped out and wanted a hot shower.

How was your turn out yesterday? Did Lynne make it with it being her bday (happy bday, Lynne) and her wreck. My gosh, I just thought of what I typed. What a horrible present for your bday week-a bday wreck. Lynne, if you see this how are you doing? Okay I hope and pray!

PS to remind....Justin is beign stationed at Washington state. He has to report there next Saturday. So my husband rode out there with him. He drove his new car out there to have and my hubby will fly back home-prob spending the holiday weekend end with Justin.
