OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Thank you for the update. I didnt want to send him a message if they were working hard. Im sure they too wish they were there too.
I know opening ceremonies are Thursday. :-)
I was wondering How do they fit that many ships at one Port?

Had a few words with my son yesterday thru Facebook messenger. They will be there soon and will have some free time to enjoy, which is very nice. They will have enough of hard work later on.

Are they taking the scenic route? lol
This past January took only 5 days to get there.
So much for my own advice to hang in there.
His B'Day is coming up & my family there has a surprise for him from me! :-))

I haven't heard from my son but, he is married now so I don't expect him to contact me as much as he did during his 1st deployment.  Plus I know he is very busy with things.
