I've purchased and had engraved for his rank and rate's and get one for each base/ship he is assigned for his future enjoyment. This Mom is collecting them for him. He knows it and I think he enjoys the fact that I do.

My son just got through A School at Corey Station in Pensacola FL.  Does any one know if there is a coin for Corey Station and where I can get one for my son?

Hi~  I was wondering if anyone can help me ... my son received a challenge coin for finishing PreBUD/S in GL and he can't seem to find it and really wants it... Does anyone know where I could get a replacement?  Thanks so much for your help!

My son is a DEPper (leave for GL on 8/8) and he was given a coin by his recruiter for volunteering and helping out at Dallas Navy Week. He was the only FS that responded to a request from the recruiting office for volunteers.

He and his rectuiter set up a booth and made funnel cakes for 10 hours.

I wonder if anyone else has ever gotten a coin for making funnel cakes? LOL!

The coins I've seen awarded are from Admirals etc at my sons graduations at Nuclear Power School. The top students were given a coin from which ever higher up was there. Base coins can be purchased at the Nex. I've bought one from each place he's been so far, each rank with date and his rate. Someday he will get the collection as he doen't have room to carry them around right now.
