Box is in the mail along with a copy of the directions and some extra tags in case you haven't printed that stuff out yet. I was confused also when I wrote to you about theo ship #. I didn't realize DMcKee and Dana were both you.

I bought some fabric this morning and hope to get it mailed this afternoon.  I'm finishing up one without a border and it's taken me hours.  Now I have to attack two that I sewed but want to attempt borders.  Since you're experienced, you'll probably be able to do these without all the challenges they've been to me.  (But they'll definitely be made with love, and perseverance.)

While I'm typing, I see your pix going by.  Is the snow in your area of California?  What does your son do one the ship?

Dana, I would love to send some fabric to you. I haven't sewed nice high school and thought " how hard can pillow cases be?" It's taken me several hours just to cut out the shapes and I haven't even turned the sewing machine on. I'm thinking my machine doesn't zigzag and I'll have to use some seam tape. Trying it out is on today's to-do list. I'm not clear as to how much fabric to buy so I bought 11/2 yards to allow for shrinkage. It seems to be plenty. What is your address? Kathy

Sorry, I guess I asked the wrong person. I'm confused since I thought the b-day list was for the Nimitz. Then the address came up with a different ship #. The five-digit zip was the same as Nimitz but the plus four was different. I guess I'll wait and see if McKee updates it. I think the name came from her.

Am adding the new name to my list and see that he's CVN69 with a zip code suffix of 2821. Is this correct?

Gregory (my son) is going to be a medic. His A-school is 6 months also. Is it Okay if we visit him during his schooling time. I know he goes to school everyday all day long, but I do believe he gets some weekends off. Suzanne
