FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Go White Sox! My friends were there they said it was very cool to watch! I am back from my girls trip to Memphis. Check out the navy duck I found in Memphis!

I think women palying hockey is so great. As a matter of fact I'm for women palying any sport. :) I miss my daughter playing sports. When I think of all the money we have spent on her traveling sports organizations, I don't even want to go there. Well, it kept her out of trouble for a little while. HA. Mary, I knew there was a reason why I liked ya!!:) One of my grandest possesions is my brick at wrigley that my best freind bought for me. Ok you guys I'm putting out a request for your help. Send some positive waves to Lemoore so Jason can come home. He put in his leave and Srgt. approved it but Lt did not recomemd, its working its way thru the chain now. His commend is so shorthanded he doesn't think it will be approved. I would love for him to come home sooner rather than later. Thanks.

Well I am a southside girl too Paula. LOL But to be honest I am a hockey mom so I really enjoy hockey. Can we get those sailors involved with hockey some how. LOL

Hope everyone had a great day yesterday!! Paula I went back and looked at the pics it was Jan 31 2010.... only thing I could see was a 74 on the deck. Would that be the Stennis?? I think Holly willbe great as a TSA agent.
