Adopted a Sailor

Hi,

Has anyone out there heard about Adopted a Sailor? Does anyone have a web site to learn more information about this. My son was telling me about this and I went on line and could not find the web site. I live very close to Great Lakes and would love to help out with some of the men and women who can not get home during the holidays, let me know!

LEAVING ON THE 18TH

My son left on November 18th, he did not want my husband or I to be home when he left, so away he went, he called Wednesday night and told us he was at Great Lakes and tired, he wanted to talk to his dad and by the time his father got to the phone he had to go, we felt bad we really did not get to talk with him. Hello Debbie just popping in to Say hello and hoping your enjoying the Christmas Season!! sorry I didnt get back to you sooner but just like you said with the holidays right around the corner things have been busy for me too!!!! I so enjoyed my Christmas gift from my daughter!! it was a night to remember!! we want to do it next yr !!! dont worry i,m trying to take it easy when i can and not over do it , i got to rest up today as soon as i came home from work i fell asleep on the couch and then i watched some tv well i sure hope you have a wonderful holiday with your family!!!!

I really dont know yet what were doing Christmas day, we have a big family and no one said anything yet, I dont mind i,ll cook Christmas dinner and stay home, my son will be home on the 28th and will will celabrate christmas with him too!! i,ll cook all his favorites, he loves ham and Lasange, so glad you,ll have your daughter with you!! well i have been feeling fine not 100% yet, catching my daughters cold a little bit and been real tired latley , i guess it will taken some time to get all my strength back, you could say with the holiday coming ive been so busy with work and shopping that could be it too!!! well i,m almost done with all my Christmas shopping and stuff so i will get to relax some! so glad your son is doing so well and working hard, he deserves everything he gets!! so proud of him!!

wow Debbie your son has a great place there!! it is so nice!!!! its been a while since ive been on your page!! just thought i,d pop in to say hello!!!! i,m trying little by little to get all my Christmas decorations up!! last week i had a lot of catching up to do with work!! i pretty much slept my day away yesterday i guess you can say it caught up to me!!LOL
well at least i got alot of rest!! im doing much better now!! just in time for the holidays!!
my son will be home a few days after Christmas,so i,m pretty excited about that!! oh and big doggie will be happy to see him too, the last time he was home he about malled him tho death, he was so happy!! well i hope you have a great holiday!!!! Love ya !!!! (HUGS))))
