HELLO ALL!
I think a Schaumburg meet and greet is WAY overdue! My son is still out there floating on a boat.
The temps in the berthing area have cooled down from 125 to 110 degrees. Insane! The ship uses the water that they are floating around in to cool the ship. The water is 92 degrees. Not much of a chance of cooling things down with that water. No wonder everyone in that part of the world seems so grumpy!
Coco- And four weekends after that you could finally put your feet up and relax!
Hello all! We all seem busy, busy, busy! Hope Cantigy was fun. I got to drive a 1956 tractor while you were all enjoying music.
Mary - hang in there - something has to break!
Life is busy right now. Out of town this coming weekend for a wedding, next weekend is my dauther-in-law is back in town for dress fittings and the bacholerette party and then another weekend in Michigan for a family reunion and then 3 weekends after that my son's wedding. That is what I am to when I am not on this site.
@Mary, Geez-louise, that makes you want to go back to doing everything in cash and stashing it under the mattress, huh??? One of my sons has been hacked and one had someone take money from his Pay-Pal account. (No pay-pal account for me, thank you)
Seriously, I hope Chase gets everything cleared up for you very soon! You have had ENOUGH crap recently.
Isn't a certain ship due home soon???
We missed you Paula! Next year for sure!!!!
@Mary, We wondered if you got lost!! LOL!! The other bands (7th Heaven and the Voices) were great too!! NEXT YEAR!!!
@PatL. in IL, that is great! I'd love to get more information on how to get involved. It sounds like you all do some great things for the troops.
@Thetwoj, At the very top of the page, it should have shown that you voted.
Molly started "Molly's Adopt A Sailor" with just about a dozen of us and now it has grown to 1035 moms. Check out the group here on N4M's. We do a lot of good and have a LOT of fun!!
I also went to the site and voted, but was not sure it was working becasue it gave me no conformation that I had voted? I hope it worked. Is Molly a member of the Chicago group, or just another Navy mom with a good soul and a big heart?
Thanks Mary, Actually we don't know yet about how many times you can vote!
