FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Nothing yet...getting very, very excited. His girlfriend and I are headed up this afternoon. XBOX - try Halo - its the one game that isnt all blood guts...you can kill aliens instead of humans...I have only been able to beat it on easy mode but it makes for a great game to play two with you son...I used to play it for hours with Lewis.

My girlfriend says thanks for the prayers 14 hours to go for her son.I remember back to the night of battlestations. Ah the worry!! :) It will soon be over for her. :)

LOL Becky, well it must be fun to use it together. I hear they have a lot of great games to use. Yes that would of been a better gift for sure to see your sailor.

I was soooo good I deserved a trip to see my sailor. HA no such luck. It was one of those you need this honey, gifts from my husband....so he can use it too. :)

Becky my thoughts are prays are with them including our sailors! The Wii sounds good you must of been a good girl to get it. LOL

I got the wii for Christmas. I love it we play it all the time. With fitness I have a hard time staying on the board it s a real workout!! I friend of mine son is going thru the marine cruicible today and tomorrow please keep him and all the new marine recruits in your prayers, as you all are praying for lewis and all the new navy recruits going thru battlestations this week. Thanks!!
