Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Jason came home last night on leave for 14 days!!! He looks goood and
says that is cold here!!! Told him welcome back home to Chicago!!!
Glad to be moving on to Lemoore. Many stories about Meridian!!!
People were just staring at us in the aiprport last nite.... Jas said

Hi all,
The woman I work with said her son told her something about opsec so
he couldn't give her address yet. So I guess I'm no good for an address!!! Soryy!!
My son got his verbal orders for PA after A school. Now I having been doing research bout PA have never been there guess I will now!!! :) Hope all is well with everyone.

Laura, just sent you his address. I also wrote to a chief that was a student of mine. He either is deployed or preparing to deploy. I asked him for addresses so I'll let you know what I get.

This is the time of year with a lot of rotations--going out and coming home, so in a month or two, I'm sure we'll have some addresses. I did get the address of a JAG officer in the Army in Afghanistan who would enjoy St. Pat's cards if anyone wants his address. His mother is a retired teacher and prays for my son and all our military everyday.

I'll help, I just don't know any sailors out right now. I can get some soldier and Marine addresses, but it would be nice to support our sailors. I'll ask around.

Absolutely--I live in Rock Island though my sailor is now at GL for three years. Hope I spend more time in the Chicago area!

It's Laura that has to change the calendar--I thought it was Mary who had posted it. I sent a message out to all the Chicago and Illinois moms that the place changed. I'm leaving right now and getting on the road.
