FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Paula I am so sorry about your mom, you are in my thoughts and prays.  Just take care of yourself.

Michelle, you fell?  How did you do that?

Mary, I am glad it was a great day for a baptism.  Sounds like your son is doing good.  Arabian sea has he been there before?

I miss you ladies, we do need to pick a date and try to catch up.

Barb is your son gone to Italy?  He can call Stephen if he has any questions, we did not seem to get together for dinner with the boys, too bad it would of been fun.

Paula, your in my thoughts and prayers this week.....:( HUGE N4M hugs to you!!  Let me know if there is anything you need! Pat I will be at the packing party for a little bit. If you guys could keep Michelle in your prayers she fell and hurt her arm and is a sling, she is looking for people to help feed her....love ya michelle you can hit me later after you arm heals...:) waiting to see a pic coco from the wedding....hope everyone else is well!

Don't forget the packing party for Molly's Adopt A Sailor on Sat. Jan. 14 from 10AM to 1PM at the Villa Park VFW. Come out and join us! The more the merrier!

You have been on a rough road Paula.  Hopefully you can get to a rst stop soon!  I am a bit burned out with my mom as well.

It is tough being a sandwich generation - caring for our kids and our parents.  We could all use some time on a tropical island all by ourselves...well, I would like to add a cabana boy to bring me drinks!
