FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome Olivia I live in Alsip, I am out in Oralnd all the time, love the mall.  LOL  We have two moms that live in Tinley, Diane and Laura.

Stephen is going to play hockey tomorrow with some friends and then off to Grandma's house for dinner.  Everyone have a wonderful  Thanksgiving and be safe.  Love Debbie

Hi all! My son Drew made third class Petty Officer too!!!!! He called me Friday around 4pm and to hear the pride in his voice was awesome!!! He was yelling and laughing. He had just got back from underway and said I got to sneak a call in to you because I can't believe I made it mom! I am so proud and congrats to all the other moms as well and thanks for posting the crows I had no idea what my son was talking about.

I miss you guys! Sorry I never meet out Saturday is our "date" night and my husband gets bent out of shape if I make other plans on that night which is soooo immature but I got to pick my battles so to speak. I will try and be here more though and keep up on so much going on.

Sally so sorry about your mom. Michelle whooya to adam!! :)  Welcome to our group earls mom. As the holiday season appraoches please keep the mother of my daughters friend in your prayers as he took his own life while home on Christmas leave the day before he was off to BUDS. the holidays are hard for the family and for all of his friends. anyone have any thoughts on sucide prevention in the navy??
