Hi, I have not been here for a long tiime. I have been thinking of all of you. I would love to get together and catch up. I am leaving for Florida March 20th to help my Dad he is moving, so I have to pack him, move him and get the house ready for sell, I will be back April 7th so maybe we can make plans to get together then. I love and miss all of you! Debbie
I think we are all busy digging out of the snow. I like living in the Northern suburbs but I am getting tired of getting wholloped by the snow every few days!
VFW fundraiser for the Welcome Home for the Troops at Cheeseburger in Paradise in Downers Grove on Sunday Feb 24th from 4-8PM. $17 for all you can eat. If you bring a donation for Molly's Adopt A Sailor, you get a free raffle ticket.
Hope to see some "Moms" there!!
Hey everyone. Let me know when you all get together again! I'm DUE to get away! Drink anyone? My daughter surprised me Friday night and came home! She's leaving for San Diego on Sunday!
Where do you guys see pictures at of our Navy kids??
Hi everyone, Sorry I have been MIA but I had a rough time with my Neuropathic Pain since winter began. Every time the barometric pressure goes up and down my head wants to explode and that is a lot lately. I always want to meet you guys and when you meet during the day I will try harder but with the type of pain I have from 5pm on it gets worse so there it is. I do read all your posts though!
Anyway, my son is doing so great he got to BM2 and he is on the (VBSS) Search and seizure team at his 3 yr mark and just got his ESWS pin a few days ago. He has been on deployment since last June but it has gone fast with all the pictures I get and see on Navy.mil it has been better than I thought with him away.
Work, work and more work Michelle :) Nothing like tax season.
@Mary, WOOHOO!!!! YIPPEEEEEE!!!! If it stayed dry during that rain, you got the problem licked!!
Mary, Here's hoping the good luck continues. Got my fingers crossed, we're supposed to get a LOT of rain tonight.
Yep Mary! I am made several and one was to get back on Navy for Moms...so here I am. Happy New Year everyone!
Sorry I missed the last get together. :( My son is now stationed at Camp Pendleton with the Marines. He does not report for duty for a few more days. For Christmas I got a text from my daughter-in-law with a picture of him and his first surf board and wet suit. And I gave myself a awesome present for Xmas...I shipped my son all the remaining items he left at my house when he joined the Navy.
