thank God and Hooyah to our "boys" !!! I have been incontact all week with moms that are in the thick of their sailors hellweek, and now just got the okay from them to say anything (now let me tell you how hard it was to keep my mouth shut and not talk about it) I have laughed, cried and cridged with them, answered the phone and made calls at all hours of the day and night, regardless of the 3 hour difference. Big Bravo Zulu from this NavyMom to those fantastic, brave and strong NavyMoms. And we thought bootcamp was tough a year ago...ehhh ladies.

Shell
Yes indeed - a HUGE HooYah to Class 273:)! Secured around 10 am this morning and will be under med watch until tomorrow . . . Congrats to all:)!
IT'S OVER....YAHOO...Talked to my son last night. He is exhausted, but thankful it is over. I am soooooooooo proud of him, and all the guys...He was eating pizza and drinking gatorade. Kim thank you for all your e-mails and support this week. I'm still trying to figure out how I SURVIVED HELL WEEK lol...Thanks again for all of you MOMS and your e-mails of encouragement and support. CONGRATULATIONS CLASS 273....
You're so very welcome, Angela! We are all so excited for you and all the other families. Of course our hearts break for the guys who rang out. I hope the ones who want to try again will give it another shot.
HOOYAH! To all our MEN!!! I am soooooo proud!
Congrats Moms!!! I'm happy for you that the week is finally over and you can talk to your sons and tell them how proud you are. Be sure to tell them that alot of other "moms" out here are very proud of them, too. For every young man that made it to BUDs and gave it their best effort...Hooyah!!!
As one of the "Stelth Ninja Mom's" in Coronado for hellweek, I just want to say how proud I was to have the opportunity to see hellweek from the thick of things. It is one of those things where you can read and study, but until you are there to see it, you have no idea (kind of like childbirth). I am so proud of those young men who pushed it out hard for the entire week. I was so impressed with the focus and dedication I saw in their faces (Yes, I was that close a few times). They are definately ROCK STARS in my book. Congratulations to all the Sailor mom's and families. I wish class 273 continued sucess for the rest of their phases.
Congrats to 273! I am an extremely proud mom of a 273 and very proud of all of these guys. It was such a releif to get that phone call on Friday am that Hellweek was secure! We visited our son on Sunday after Hellweek. He was very tired ,but ready for the next phase to start. It was great to see him. They are a very tight group of guys. Did you get some pics of any of the evolutions? I would love to see them if you did. This is my first time on this sight and very happy to have found it.
Gosh -- I am so out of the loop. Time to get back in it...so much worry about getting the guys in trouble.
Miss you guys --
