THE LAST TWO ARE MY FAVORITE!!!!!!!

The liberals are asking us to give Obama time.
We agree and think 25 to life would be appropriate.

Q: Have you heard about McDonald's new Obama Value Meal?
A: Order anything you like and the guy behind you has to pay for it.

Q: What does Barack Obama call lunch with a convicted felon?
A: A fund raiser.

Q: What's the difference between Obama's cabinet and a penitentiary?
A: One is filled with tax evaders, blackmailers and threats to society.
The other is for housing prisoners.

Q: If Nancy Pelosi and Obama were on a boat in the middle of the ocean
and it started to sink, who would be saved?
A: America!

Q: What's the difference between Obama and his dog, Bo?
A: Bo has papers.

Well Katynorth I think you have to cut the Democrats a break and realize that they act the way they do because they think they are a superior life form and that entitles them to make decisions for the rest of us. It's sort of a systemic and slightly weaker from of Obama's Narcissism. They think the rest of us are benighted heathens (well really fundamentalist Christian crackpots) same thing, and we'll just be better off if we get back on the reservation and shut up.

I thought this cartoon was a hoot:

The problem with government health care is the same problem with government anything else ... it's run by faceless bureaucrats who don't really have a stake in the outcome and as a result it becomes costly, inefficient and ultimately ineffective. So you get less and it costs more. A system that guarantees that you can shop for your health care to get it at the lowest cost and greatest benefit without the government sticking their nose in it would clearly be superior, but then the government wouldn't get their cut. It's not about healthcare it's about power.

Obama doesn't believe that he can be overexposed because he honestly believes his own PR. He's a classic Narcissist. Nothing beyond him really exists or is significant. He never shows human emotions or sensitivity to the human condition and it shows all the time.

On a more important note here's my front yard from the blizzard of 2010 -- Just think how much worse it would be except for global warming ...

This little Japanese maple is not entirely happy.

I just thought she had a gritty realism about her portrayal. Agree about Star Trek ... they mess those movies up all the time. There's never been a really really good Star Trek movie ... maybe Wrath of Khan came closest. Since I'm a CG techie nerd I loved the Avatar special effects ... that's what I mean about the planet ... I kept trying to figure out what the inspiration was for the various things like the beasties that had hammerhead shark heads, etc.

We should probably talk more about our Sailors though -- Jessica told me that seaman was not what they are, they're Sailors ... OK LOL.

Saw the Denzel Washington movie. I thought he turned in a reasonable performance although the premise of the movie was ridiculous. I did enjoy the
kicker at the end which I won't spoil in case anyone hasn't seen the movie.

I'm a techie nerd so my favorite of the season was Avatar 3D IMAX despite some really annoying over the top military stereotyping (exceptionally well acted however) and a bit of Gaia nonsense ... but it is science fiction. The amazing thing was the planet which should get an Oscar for best actor.

The military helicopter pilot of the female persuasion gets my vote for best supporting actress ... she was great!

Thanks MM and you too Deborah ... I enjoy blogging although it's a real time waster just like Facebook and other social networking sites. It's lets you blow steam off though. My sister started me doing it because she has a blog. I'm waiting to hear what my sailor is going to be doing. We got about 18" of this East coast snow storm. Up in Maryland they got three feet in some places.

Thanks for the welcome MM ... I was scrolling down through the messages and couldn't figure out what the brouhaha was all about ... Getting ready to watch the Fox coverage of the Tea Party Nation convention in Nashville with Sarah Palin keynoting. Should be interesting. Supposed to start something like 9 p.m EST.
