Charlie Gibson is never gonna be on my news channel again, clearly very one sided. Liking what I'm hearing about the Virginia race, NJ is tight right now but the demos are bringing in all the muscle they can to save Corzine.

I have always loved Charly. When he was on GMA I watched everyday. Then, Robin Roberts would say she was a Presbyterian and prayed. Now there is none of that! News articles are heavily prejudiced in favor of liberals, you wonder what can people think that watch them and believe that is the truth - news that doesn't give the entire story - all of the facts and extenuating circumstances that support that article? I feel it is very important to know what mainstream media is trying to push on the public, so we have an idea of how to respond, and be able to tell the facts and other evidence that disputes their version, that proves "Oh yeah, I see now how they've twisted it in their favor - they forgot to mention....." And what they forgot to mention is the main idea.

I still watch Charly on the nightly news (yes I still like him) but can't stand the lady and Jake Tapper that put a cheery outlook where it is not there, or put gloom on our military where they don't tell the positive occurrences that actually go on - they just "conveniently" omit those parts. So I was surprised when Jake Tapper asked "How can you say Fox news isn't a REAL news source?" As someone who has to take some pride in his work, he had to say - WOW- they are crossing the line - you can't dispute their watchdog investigative reporting. They uncover more corruption that mainstream would dare to.

I find the latest attack from the White House quite humorous ---- especially considering some of the footage that is being played of their Communications Director, Anita Dunn. I personally think Dunn should be ...done!

Here's a few comments from a blog about her that I thought you might enjoy...
(yes, it's a conservative blog - just making it easy for our liberal minded friends!)

Well spoken, like a spokesperson for Chairman ObaMao! She admires Mao, because she is a Maoist, Van Jones is an admitted Maoist, Bill Ayers is a Maoist, and Obamao is the first American president who has refused to meet with the Dalai Lama before consulting with Hu Jintao. What else do you expect from a Maoist?

ADN, I went to Chattanooga State during the Clinton years. I only had one professor in accounting that was a Republican. the rest were ALL liberals, and clearly emphasized their feelings in class. It made me so mad. Especially when all the 18 year olds cared about was - they were going to vote for the good looking candidate. Good Lord.

This is another of my Kay Granger newsletters:

GRANGER INTRODUCES “SAVE OUR SENIOR’S SOCIAL SECURITY ACT 0F 2009”

Legislation uses existing stimulus dollars as COLA substitute

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Congresswoman Kay Granger (R-Fort Worth) introduced legislation today to ensure Texas seniors receive the resources they need to help them meet their cost-of-living expenses without adding an additional burden on the backs of taxpayers.

Although the House of Representatives voted to stop Medicare Part B premiums from increasing, that is just one component of seniors’ health care costs. Despite preventing this increase, consumer health care expenses have gone up by 3.2% over the last year even as consumer prices have decreased by 2.1%. Seniors will still disproportionately face higher costs than the average consumer and rely on a cost-of-living-adjustment (COLA) in Social Security benefits to keep pace. Because consumer prices have fallen, for the first time in 35 years Social Security recipients will not be receiving a COLA.
H.R. 3677 will take approximately $14.28 billion from approved federal stimulus dollars and provide seniors with a one-time payment to offset the economic hardships they will inevitably face without a COLA.

“I did not support the federal stimulus package passed earlier this year because I thought the money would be wasted,” said Granger. “Now we know the money is being wasted on frivolous items such as fish food in Missouri, ginseng farming in West Virginia and a canal boat museum in New York. Times are tough for all Americans and we have to prioritize. That’s what seniors are doing all across Texas. This stimulus money can be better spent giving some assistance to seniors during a challenging time.”

I just want to know where is all the transparency that someone promised during his campaign?
Comment by CCR on October 9, 2009 at 12:33pm
Yes, congratulations for that honor.

Please be aware that part of Max Baucus's health care plan includes a proposal for Flexible Spending Accounts to be greatly reduced.

Save Flexible Spending Plans is a national grassroots advocacy campaign to protect against the restricted use of flexible spending accounts (FSAs) as an option to help fund a small portion of the costs for health care reform efforts.

Check out the link below and pass this on to anyone you may know to log in and reply to congress to let them know that we want the benefit - our flex accounts offer left alone!!!

Save Flexible Spending Plans is sponsored by the Employers Council on Flexible Compensation (ECFC), a non-profit organization dedicated to the maintenance and expansion of private employee benefit programs on a tax-advantaged basis.

One, Two, Three - I did not see this but I am quite sure the white lab coats would have given it away as a staged event immediately for me. Almost sounds like perhaps they were...actors.

Two of our congressman are doctors and I can assure you they have very definite opinions on the health care plan that is trying to be shoved down our throats post haste.

We can only "hope" that Harry Reid is enjoying his last term -
