I think we will be seeing more and more of that Mary as Americans become more disenchanted with their "change"

Good morning ladies. Found myself fascinated by Cspan proceedings recently, the process is quite fascinating to me.

Today should be an interesting day between Acon and the request for Ringel to step down from his chairmanship. Very recently my sister received a letter from the IRS informing her that she made a mistake on her taxes that she did with Turbo Tax program and as a result owed an additional $6000 plus interest and penalities and I believe she had 30 days to pay that bill. Wish I could even bring myself to repeat her thoughts on Turbo Tax Timmy and Ringel!

I think the upcoming days are some real defining moments for this administration but I certainly pray that they leave the politics out of it and do what is right for our military in Afganistan. Why did he hand pick a general to take the lead there and not heed his experience and recommendations? Do you find it amazing that McChrystal is in London speaking to our allies but they voted against him coming to Washington to speak to our Congress and Senate?? At least until Obama has a strategy ----- don't understand that at all. McChrystal should be laying out that strategy - oh wait I forgot Obama has a lot of experience in the warzone. Horrible casualities this weekend, my heart aches for everyone that has a son or daughter in this area while this President tries to re-define his strategy. Yes, that costly venture to Denmark was a 14 hour flight but it did allow for a 25 minute conversation with General McChrystal.

Mary, Ronald Burris is blaming Bush for not getting the Olympics. do you remember him? Its so silly, you just have to laugh.

It occurs to me that if we could see through to the REAL reason why they were going to the ends of the earth to make this happen, everyone else could also. They didn't do this for the right reasons, and that was an expensive trip.
Maybe Oprah will spring for the tab.
What I wouldn't give to be in Rio again!

didn't know about the relationship between Valerie Jarrett, Michelle, the White House, and Chicago. Its interesting to note who will benefit from the Olympics coming to Chicago, and how the circle continues within corrupt Chicago politics. No offense intended to my Illinois moms. I'm glad someone is bringing these facts to our attention, how else would we find out? ABC? CBS? NBC?
Its so sad, I used to have such respect for them.

Congratulations Lynne!
You raised a good one!
I saw where they lifted a young sailor from a sub (I think to take to a hospital) and they of course, did not name the sub.

I find this to be very disturbing and an insult to our American Auto Workers...

Gore-Backed Automaker Secures $529M Taxpayer Loan
The federal government has loaned $529 million to Fisker Automotive Inc., a small car company backed by former Vice President Al Gore to help build a hybrid sports car in Finland that will sell for about $89,000, the Wall Street Journal reported.

and in response to cutting our nuke arsenals, I post a Ronald Reagan quote:

Of the four wars in my lifetime, none came about because the U.S. was too strong -- Ronald Reagan
