I have to tell you guys that my mom was a texting up to the day she passed . She was so adorable I made sure she had the easiest phone to type on. It was so funny to see this 74 year old texting like crazy to her grandchildren I loved it. Now we have most of her friends doing it.

Yeah - computer challenged is the politically correct term for computer retarded Ruthella! LOL! We have been shopping for a new computer for a couple weeks now - hubs just has to see every freakin one out there before he makes up his mind - I just want one with BIG keys and screen that I can see! I think they are reasonable requests, don't you? My kids are into the whole facebook thing - I had to get a page to be able to e-mail them because heaven forbid they just use a regular aol or yahoo address that is easy for mom to use! Kind of like why do they have to text my cell phone rather than call? By the time I send a response they have sent 5 more texts! I just can't move my fingers on those tiny keys fast enough! I think it's a form of torture!

Hi All! Finally getting to catch up a little here! Welcome new moms, you've come to the right place, these women and dad (Mark!) are wonderful and full of knowledge on all things Navy be it green side, blue side or upside down!
Ruth - down here we say "Weeza"! LOL! Been chaotic around my house and here I was whining that it was going to be too quiet with 3 of the 5 kids away for the holidays! With the new grand baby, a jealous 3 year old, a puppy that is GIGANTIC and finishing up the re-model I've hardly had time to whine! Have been hearing from Devin pretty regularly thus far thanks to skype! He loves Naples and seems to be getting settled in well. You know, I read about all of our boys that are deployed in the sand and I keep them all in my prayers but as odd as it might sound I feel kind of guilty that he's not there. Almost like wow - how did we get so freakin lucky? But I understand that even though he is based in Italy there is always the possibilty of being deployed and so for now, as much as I miss him, I am eternally thankful that he is where he is!
