A friends of mine made a quilt out of the high school t shirts that her son no longer wears. I thought that was a good idea and a nice way to preserve HS memories.

Nice Fleece Blanket anyone??

I made an awesome large fleece blanket for our dd a couple years ago.  One material was a really neat Navy big logo surrounded by other nautical/naval pictures.  Didn't knot the edges together, but rather sewed it around the edges inside out, then turned it right side out.  After i sewed up the "turning hole" i then sewed around the edges again & w/ the fleece it made a very nice "finished" edge.

It was the envy of many Midshipmen friends [NROTC] cuz it was so large, warm & not uncomfortable to lay on like some fleece blankets made by knotting the edges.

Wanted to make another one later, but cannot find the material again :[
