Dee - My fingers crossed for Spencer. Question - My son, Philip, told me that it is a 2-year program to learn. Is my memory wrong or any change ...?

Hi everyone. My son is in DLI but no language for him yet. He spend about $1200 or more in 5 outings on Games and clothes. My question is that I should nag him again or just let go.

Dee - God bless him.

Hi CTI Moms! I haven't been on here in a few weeks due to work overload, but it's fun to catch up and read everyone's posts. Taylor just started his classes on March 25th. So far it has been about English grammar and cultural stuff, so it hasn't been that hard, but he knows it's about to get much, much more challenging.

Dee - I'm jealous that you were just there. We're planning on visiting sometime around Labor Day.

Yes, Debbie. I trust that "Navy has some way of getting them to want to study."

Craig's Mom - I have same feelings. First amazing thing I found out that my son can write letters with good penmanship now. When he called me, I said he is good even on writings! He replied: mom, if I don't write good and neat, they want me do it again. lol

Craig's Mom - Thanks for your info. I asked my son what do you want me to bring while staying in hotel. He replied: my PS3. ):

I am new in this group. My son's PIR is on 3/19/10. One question: why do they need a laptop? Is there a library they can use? I am afraid that my son indulge the computer games.
