Hi .  my daughter leaves for BC in june. Her job is DC and her A school is in Great Lakes. I have a few questions .. how long is A school? Does she get to come home after A school? I've also read that most DC are stationed on a ship ... true/false?

Trying to get as much info as possible to ease my fears of  her leaving .  xoxo

Hi Calirose my son will be stationed at pearl harbor he is really excited about it. I was hoping for San Diego so he was closer to home. I live in Calif. My son just graduated a couple weeks ago from A school and is waiting on papers for leave to come visit but we'll see. How does your Sr like it there?

Good morning LI mom, welcome to the group where will your son be stationed? My is a fairly new DC in Norfolk. This is kinda quiet group but I've always gotten any questions answered when I've asked. Where are you from?

could someone give us a little idea of what the testing procedure looks like?  After mod 2 what is next from there and what determines a great score and stationing after A school?  I love how we are always learning something new in this adventure

what are the requirments for phase 2 liberty?  My sailor asked if we could come and sign him out so he could come home for a weekend?  We are withing the 300 mile radius.  We figured that he would be able to get permission and come home until he was required to sign back in at end of liberty...could someone help us understand how this process works :)  Thanks

LOL! Does this mean employment ops for DC's getting out of the Navy? Cause apparently there are times when Carnival DOES give up the ship!

My3boys....I sent ya a friend request and msg. My Sailor is a DC3 and I asked him to write a msg of encouragement for your Sailor. I'll send to your email if you provide to me so you can send to him. I didn't think that he'd write it as he is very busy on the ship, but he did, so I'd really like for your Sailor to hear his words. Brandi
