Dec6 - The address is: USS Abraham Lincoln, CVN 72, FPO AP 96612-2872... be sure to add your sailor's box #.

does any one know where I can get the correct address for USS abraham Lincoln?  I think I may have the last line wrong.  I don't know if its FPO AP   or if is FFO AP.  Any help would be appreciated...

Marianne, I have looked at his carriers group, not much activity there.  But thank you anyway.  I did post in another group though.

Dec6 - Welcome!  Wish I had an answer for you, but I don't. Hopefully someone else here has an answer.  There is also an undesignated group - maybe there's a Mom of someone working towards a DC in the group.  Have you posed the same question to your carrier group?

new to DC, my son is undesignated and on an aircraft carrier now, he told me he is in DC.  He is VERY excited about this.  It is up his alley, as he does want to be a Fireman and Emergency management when he gets out of Navy. I was wondering how does it work if he did not go to A-school for DC.  Can anyone explain?  Love my sailor but he is not a good job at expalining this one to me...so I turn to Navy for Moms.

Well, come to think of it, we don't really want fires.

Yup, y'all are right--he pulled KP! LOL  Fortunately, he worked in a restaurant in college.  But he'd much rather be fighting fires.
