Thank you Kimberly and Marianne! I don't know if I could have handled her being as far away as Japan! Doesn't mean she won't go there and beyond but SD was an answer to everyone's hopes and prayers.

Welcome home party planning is in full swing!

Oleander - wonderful!  My daughter's first orders were to Sasebo Japan for 3 years!  Enjoy your time together.

Happy weekend everyone. My sailor has her written orders and will be home on leave Thursday! Can't wait to have her here for a few days!

Hi everyone, My daughter graduated and is officially a US Navy DC! She's very excited, as are we. She's received her orders and will be stationed in San Diego -- more good news since it's only a few hour drive from home!!!  She's expecting her written orders by early next week but has been assigned to the USS Pearl Harbor.

Hi Holly, welcome! Make sure you're on the Boot Camp site as well, there's a ton of support and great information as you go through the BC experience!

My daughter has just begun Advanced Training. If I can help you out with anything don't hesitate to ask.
