my SR always remains optimistic. Our favorite quote Oliver Wendel Holmes "What lies before us and what lies behind us are of tiny matters compared to what lies within us". Ladies remember what your

sons and daughters are made of, they come from good so they can only be good ! they can only do good !.My husband say our SR are in the bottom of the 4th quater they are up by 10points with 10sec  left on the clock and they have the ball. In other words they have won.And now we can all take a deep breath a sigh of relief.May God continue to Bless each and everyone of you and your families.

Hi bbkmom. My boyfriend is also in div 062. I haven't heard from him lately but it's close to PIR! Praying for the boys as they run into the final lap of their training days. Have you heard from your SR lately? We have a group for the 062 moms and girlfriends on this website too! Make sure to join us. :)

Hi BBKS Mom,

We are from Ga (Carrollton) and we are driving up.  I'm so excited to see our son.  Is your sons division having problems?  I know my son said that his division just can't seem to keep their mouths shut and do what they're told.  Are you guys going to be at the meet and greet?

what division is your SR in My son is Div 062.he said they do have quite a few  characters.but their doing  fine.

BBKS Mom, our son is also in Div.62. Hope we get a chance to meet at the meet and greet! We are from California.
Welcome.  We're from Nebraska and planning to drive for the Graduation.   Next week at this time we'll be with our NEW NAVY SAILORS.  I received a letter from our son.  He reported that Div 062 is doing GREAT.  "Marching Around Like Pros All Day!!!!!"  So that's some good news and a big relief.  See you soon. :)
That's so good to hear! :) I'm so proud of Div062!

Thats great to hear. you made my day.should i be worried that I havent heard from my SR this weekend.i guess I

thought he would call to let me know that they had completed battle stations.

Hi bbkmom==i didnt see your posts until today...sorry (guess i should check my mail..lol)

Your sons division hasnt done battlestations yet. Actually...its tonight!!!! (feb. 1st). They will have BS tonight and into tomorrwo morning. Your sons division (062) and my sons..(061) are doing them together. Say a prayer that all goes well, they all pass, and get capped a sailor!!.

I hope you found the info on the Meet and Greet...hopefully everyone is still  able to make it on time...(crazy weather). There is also info in the discussion forum about each division wearing a certain color of scarf to PIR. Did you read up on that?.Let me know if you need any questions answered. Or just ask in the board or here. (i promise i will check my mail from now on..lol

Also....i know that both of these divisions have been having some problems. I hope they are able to pull it together to get thru tonight and then they can put this all behind them.  I cant wait to see my son and tell him that this 'part' is over with for good and he can now move on to his dream and what is important.

Our division hasnt t heard much from our SR's either...so you are not alone in that. I dont really mind at this point..i just want the 'im a sailor' call sometime tomorrow...then to arrive safely and on time for PIR.
