Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

I now have a really good understanding of what battlestations really are about.I really liked seebee moms interputation
and I find myself wishing it was just that simple.But forever forward. thanks so much. As always I continue to pray for
our military and our new recruits.

Can some one explain battle stations I only know what I read in the guide
Is it a competition.Do the recruits have too pass certain test. I am a little confused. HELP!!

Hello everyone, my sons PIR is 02/04/2011.We are all very excited ill take any input you can offer about the trip. we will be flying in from atlanta GA.If you have a kid who has that date drop me a line. hotels, car rentals that kind of stuff.also would like to thank the mom who posted the blog about her sailor and gave all that great info about her trip.As always I continue to pray for our military and our new recruits.

So when does your son head to boot camp and what rate will he be going into after bc? Our son has been in 2.5 years already it goes by so quickly. We do have local gatherings - hope that we can meet you soon.
