As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Got a call!!!!!!  Yeah!!!!!!!!  And he called back and left a voice mail I can listen to all the time!!!!!!!!

Where is everyone??????

Joe's biopsy did take a little out of him (besides the obvious "little bit" the doctor took out!!!), but the results were negative for CA--two areas of pre-CA that will require frequent follow up. Means we don't have to face that monster and all the side effects of the treatment (cause even the most non-invasive still eventually cause ED and other problems) for now. Will probably have to face it at some time, but maybe not for a few more years.....

Yes, Trish, J is joining her over there very shortly as the Stennis battle group is going to be the second group there and they have decided to have two over there all the time. I think the Nimitz group will be replacing the one your daughter is with in Dec. The Stennis group was supposed to be the one replacing her group in Dec, but the Nimitz wasn't ready to go be the second one, so the Stennis got sent 4 months early. Heard the Nimitz is now fixed and ready.

Well, love you guys!!!  Glad to hear some of you back!!!  Yes, as we all have to face the D word, it would be really good to still have our original support here..........I know it really helped me last year.......

Have a great weekend!!!!!!!

Hi girls... hope you are all doing great.  You all must be incredibly busy, it is so quiet on this site anymore. I guess after a time that is what happens....well I for one will never forget how I was welcomed with open arms by all of you... thank you for that:)  D will be deploying in about 10 days, so not ready for this. :(

bama, glad to hear that W passed, that is great! Hope your husbands surgery went well.

Trisha, Dec will be here before you know it:)

Have a good day girls.

Hi everyone!!!  Got my Beau off to the vet this AM for his little surgery. Hope he doesn't hate me too much afterward.....LOL!!!

Rosey is the star pupil in her Dog training class. Joe said she is just the star of the show. We can already see a difference in how she is acting--course that may be because she has a new friend that plays with her all the time and she isn't bored.......

Joe is going to P'cola tonight to finish the paint job on the old family home there. His parents have, for all intents and purposes, moved back there. It totally changes what we are doing and destroys a lot of what we were doing because we were doing it for them. I am pretty angry with his older sister because of what she has done--basically drained them dry and got her big 65 acre farm paid for and house finished and now driven them away. About $200000 worth.....leaving them with out funds to do much anything else. It's a good thing they didn't sell the old family home, just the one Joe grew up in, or they wouldn't have any choice buy live with us in our unfinished house or go into a nursing home. We may even sell our place eventually after we get it fixed up cause I'm not sure I want to be right here next to her........we are supposed to have a family meeting at some point, but I'll never really be able to express my hurt and outrage over what's been done. That would be destructive and not ever lead to resolution, but maybe some day we can get to a place where I will be able to forgive what she did. She has robbed them and all us too.

Another rant......I'm getting to where that's happening to much. Need to spend some time and get things more settled on the Lord's shoulders.....

W passed his test!!!  He has his big presentation on 10/4 and will continue to have other test to pass, but I think the worst is over. He is pretty sure the presentation will also go well.

Haven't heard from J.......

Thank you, Lydia for all you do for our men and women over there!!!!

Hope everyone and their sailors are doing great!!!

Im here just been crazy busy every single day preparing for our Care Package Fund Raiser on the 29th and I do lunch the last Wed of every month for care packages...  at our Post...  so Im here just MIA some mornings (which is whn I check inhere)  its all for a GREAT cause and I get the most amazing thankful emails for these kids up in the mountains of Afghan...  soo Im driven!!!!!

Bama - I agree - and i stand with Israel..  and they dont stand a chance but if Obama keeps skirting around the problem the Israel is right..  there will much damage on a global scale..  I dunno the answer..  but I do know collies are so sweet but they definately have that round em up nature about them... poor goaties!

Glad the kids are passing tests right and left!!!  SUPER

Bman is great loving California life and his helo squadron..  they "Play" alot of desert games and he loves it...  makes me very nervous though..but part of testing for the wings.....  thinks he will be home for Christmas ...  of course who knows with things happening in the Middle East...

KK - blue healers are sooo  kewl!!!

Well, it is quiet in here these days but we are all here!!!!   Also we are on Face Book too!!    HUGS everyone!

W said they were told already that someone failed the test on Friday, but he doesn't know who. I think they have probably already called up the person who failed, wouldn't you think???  Still praying hard....

Where is everyone?????  I'm fixing to start separate messaging everyone--I'd really like to know where everyone's sailor is........what they are doing......(in general terms of course....)

Comment by BamaGrad84 on September 20, 2012 at 4:50pm

W passed the PT test!!!!  Met the requirements for the 18-20 year olds (even though he is 25!!). Found out the big Presentation is 10-4-12, but he does have a critical test Tomorrow!!!  (Friday!!) Thanks so much for the prayers!!

Praying for G-man today!!!  Hope he scores 100%!!!

Found out J is already 13-14 hrs ahead of us in time..... they are planning on making a few stops before they settle in to full operations over there... Iran is super crazy if they think they have even a small chance of knocking out one carrier group, but now they have two to deal with.....I think it's time to pull all our people off the ground in those countries and do a few practice bombing runs....Oh, no, you mean we dropped live ammo?????  Too bad, so sad........maybe you should have thought of that before you attacked our embassies and killed our former Seals.......I'm so tired of pussy-footing around these crazies.....I'm tired of our men being killed......it's about time we played some Cowboys and Muslims......

OK, now I got that off my chest........Hope you all have had a great week!!

Oh, I have a new baby!!!  He is a full-blooded border collie (no papers, but he even has dew-claws!!)--they called him "Hank", but he ain't no Hank!!  We have renamed him "Beau" and he's a beauty!!!  Poor Rosey is so tired!!!  He played with her all night!!!  He was born on the same night as Gracie (12/10/11), so we really remember that day well!!!  Anyway, he's not fixed, so he will be next week. I'll go take some pics and get them on her very shortly....

Love ya'll!!!
