For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Roxanne - got it fixed... every summer it seems to go out on us... it is an old old unit so I know one day we will have to invest in a new one but just not yet!!!! I know you are a busy lady these days...

Actually I like Roxy and we have decided that we will use it on someone in the future.....Foxy Roxy!!!! The little girl this time is Dixie!!!! Kind of a compromise between Daisy and Pixie..........
J got his phone!!!! Can actually talk to him now. He still hasn't heard back on his packet for Air Crew......I think that actually may be a good thing......Please keep praying!!!!
