For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Lydia, Yuck about the AC!! Hope it gets fixed quickly! We took the cover off the pool on Sunday...it's getting filled up quick with all this rain!! It looks great, no green just clear COLD water!! LOL!

Trisha, Hello, I agree, I was in my best friends wedding on Treasure Island near San Francisco about 30 years ago. He and all of the guys in the wedding were Nucs, all officers- It was so cool. Swords and dress whites.
Everyone have a great week, 4/ 10's this week- 5/ 10's next week, then Molly leaves on her class trip (May 21) they are going to Williamsburg, VA -she graduates on May 25th- Yeppie!! I only work one that week and am off til the May 30th!!!!
