For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Molly is in a small group (from the Honors Choir) that sings a song called Whispered Prayers, it is so beautiful and it reminds me of all of you. I take that time to say whispered prayers for all of you and your families and Sailors!

Rox - yes actually TONS of rain... our tables are back up - we HAD a burn ban as you know all last summer... but we are good for now anyway!! Hope yall get some soon... spring showers!! Woooow Mo is super busy but that is good!!
So the Rider meeting was tough.... lots of yelling and screaming by the same jerks that messed with me three months ago... because they DID NOT get voted into any positions..... they were furious.... us good people got voted in and oh boy they were HOT and stormed out... Im glad I hope they never come back! But we shall see......
Spent yesterday with S--just some girl time!! Now that J is DEFINITELY out of her picture, her other possible future--K, who is a Navy MP--is moving fast to make it permanent--talking about the "M" word............ we had a shopping day cause she is meeting his parents this evening!!!!!
Hope to get some work and rest today..............work in the house, rest in the bed......... still haven't gotten the Dawn in the shower yet.........bummer.........

Kelly, Thank you! Mo is very excited about college. Next Friday is the prom, and the following week the choir is on tour. First they have a choir workshop at the Naval Academy on Friday and they end by singing for the soldiers (church service) at Fort Meade. Lots of other stuff in between. So glad K is doing well, I am praying for him.

Good Saturday morning
Well, I was out walking Dixie.... coffee mug in one hand her in the other... no camera of course! And what to wondering eyes did apprear??? TWO not one but TWO Indigo Buntings... twitter pating right in front of me (of course they could have been fighting - hard to tell the difference) Man they are sooo beautiful that Blue is just amazing!!!!!

Molly decided to attend Salisbury University, very close to home, but she will live there. It is a great school, they gave her more money then any other school and she got in the honors program. 5 weeks til graduation.
