As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Heard from J yesterday---got his taxes filed and his return on the way to him. That's what a good mommy is for, I guess!!!! They head out for a training later this week for around a couple of weeks..........then back in for a little bit and then another couple of weeks.............then---who knows????? Maybe deployment, maybe not..............he is going to start his packet though..........
More demo on the bad stuff in the house today.........new A/C put off til next week cause we found so much stuff to rebuild (the guy POURED PORTLAND CEMENT over the rotten floor in the pantry at least an inch thick--we have to bust it out, tear out rot and replace with good wood------this guy was STUPID!!!!!!!!) Have the old system torn out. He had started tearing it out as he was planning to sell the copper but didn't have time before he was locked off the property. The blower works so we will keep that for Joe to put in his workshop (after we get it built). Sometimes we think we have bit off more than we can chew.......
Have a great day, sisters!!!!!
Good Morning! Sun is shining...just wish it would WARM UP quicker! : )
Lydia, You're such a great Momma!! : ) They are gonna LOVE those cookies! K has requested another loaf of my Irish Soda Bread so that's what I'm baking today to send off to him along with a few other Easter treats.
Wellen, It is so hard not to worry about our boys..especially while they are going through rough training like BCT but as you said, we have to have FAITH & know that they have the strong will to make it! Have a wonderful Spring break trip with younger son....Senior year is such a bittersweet time for us as parents so enjoy every minute!! : )
kk, Hope the x-ray goes well & your finger is healing the way it should! I'm going to walk this afternoon when it warms up a bit!
Have a great Tuesday everyone!!
