Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

HAHAHAHAHA.....   Happy St. P Day !!!!     Im actually going to meet up for lunch with a Navy Momma whose daughter was in Bs RSS class but Dropped.  Her daughter is marrying one of Bs buddies in a few months... anyhooo...  I found out she live about 45 miles from me so we are going to meet and do lunch!  D man is at the Post ALL day....  so...  Im off and running to meet my new mom friend....

Rox - I can not wait to see pictures... let us know when you have them up and running!!!!  Yippie!!!!  You and Mo have fun!!!!!

KK - prayers for Gman and the test he took (B took E-5 test but they are so overmanned in RSS that only 1 out of ALL of the E-4s will be allowed to receive it so B is not getting his hope up hahaha)    I pray our G man will get it and continue to soar like the eagle that he is!!!!!    And praying that this up coming week will bring answers for our C....  appointments, tests and answers!!!!!!

Kelly - I love new things...  Ill bet your new puter will be so techno!!!!  Have fun with your boys and the Grail or Cheers!  Sounds AWESOME

Happy Friday All, Lots of people at the blood drive, man my blood comes out fast.  Kinda made me dizzy-feeling much better now.  T is officially a graduate, no pictures yet, but soon, one of the Dads went and took pictures.  I will share them as soon as I get them.  Thank you all for the prayers! I will check in a little later!

kk, Praying for C, sounds to me like she needs to see the neurosurgeon ASAP, guess the doctors have a different idea.  How frustrating!  Hope everything works out for G, sounds like he is on his way.

Good day all!

The kid who screwed or tried to screw up my son....   got booted out of the Navy!  Not to be mean, but Im glad that his peers now see what he has done and so has his family....    Gosh watching the news is a killer today... so much suddenly going on in Afganastan , Israel, Iran......  geepers creepers !!  =(   Well, HUGS  

Bama - glad things are doing well!  Rox, glad you have some time off!  KK - get better soon sista!
