For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Rox..... I KNOW 70 can you believe it??!!! And I am off too... going to the Phila. Flower Show with my mom... we go almost every year. It smells sooooo good in there:))) Then we walk over to the Reading Terminal Market, and it smells soooo good in there too!!! Just different smells... all the awesome food,hahaha!!

kk, Praying for C, I know all about Chiari malformations, and I know how dangerous they can be. Hope everything will be ok with her. I misunderstood the sleep thing, I thought you said you were going to help us sleep at work. LOL, they never let me sleep at work! That really made me smile.

Yes, I do wake up with a song running through my head--always a song to God.... and I can't sleep easily after the sun is up, no matter how late I'm up. Took our church secretary to the ER last night and didn't get into bed until almost 3AM, but I was up at 7:30.......no other sleep today, so I'm pooped......
Got to Skype with J again!!!!! Love that boy so much!!!! So good to see his handsome face!!!!

pamom - hi honey... funny us girls are so much alike... I woke up at 2:00 and finally just got up and laid in the recliner for a few hours.... this cold kept me awake e.. Im sooo tired but happy and having fun with H and K and the two pupppies... but I have got to get some sleep hlep soon.... 4 to 5 hours a night is just nit enough... I always wake up and have a song running through my head???? Do yall do that too? Wierd... anyway... here are my grandpuppies...
