Div 818 PIR 9/2

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Happy Monday All!

Mo and I went to see Act of Valor, it was a great movie.  I cried at the end, just a little.  Seemed very real!

Lydia, Sorry the mom won't help and make her son accept responsibility for his role in this. Praying for B!

Good Sonday morning!

KK - NO indeed the movie does not commercialize nor threaten the SEALS - it is an intensly patriotic movie and nothing the SEALs or SWCC used in the movie is any secret as far as assets...  the technology is know through out the world.  HEY those beaufitul COLD photos are just amazing..  you have an EXCELLENT camera I think and an EXCELLENT camera taking photo eye!

Bama - Glad the boy will be back so soon!

Kelly - I can imagine...  boxing up Bs things and storing them was soo hard for me too!  ugggggg

The Mother will NOT help me...  even though her son promised my son that he would get the bike to the DMV and get those tags changed and registration, and he did NOT do it...  he rode it for months and months and now he and his mom claim that because it was not him on the bike when the traffic vilation happend it was not his problem...   That is horrible just horrible..  the kid loand that bike out to someone WITH BENS TAGS STILL ON IT and now denys the need to help his mom too!   ugggggggggggggggg  IM PISSED   So Im putting in a call for help from a mom on another site who lives right there near the base in Pcola...   Bama I was gonna ask you but I know you are not feeling well these days so I did not want to burden you.   But if this other mom cant help me then I will have to burden you...   I cant get through to the traffic court we have called hundreds of times and it just rings busy....  the clerk of court wont help us..  we can even find out the amount of the citation to pay it which my son will do just to clear up his name.....  That is such a breech of brotherhood I pray this Spec Ops boy gets kicked out of the Navy....

Anyway - sorry for venting but I can sleep at night worrying about this and so many other worries in my life!

Love yall ALL!!

Well, it's been a productive Saturday!!!  The goatie-people got cleaned out pens (I call them that all the time and watch people stare and say, "WHAT???"!!!), Miss Gracie Lou is now in with her cousin Apollo and has a pen between her and mama Dottie Jean--she didn't like it, but not too much noise---bet that changes tomorrow when she and Mama are not put in the same pen after milking............it won't be a joyful noise, either!!!!

Joe and W have put the sheet rock up around my new front door---it looks so good and it's been so much warmer since that old broken bay window is gone...

Thanks so much for the encouragement with my Mother. It's just something I've had to live with for so long and to see small steps towards a better relationship is something I had given up on. My brother is the one I have to thank for this--he wants a closer family and wants our Mother to have a relationship with all her children. I owe him for this BIG time!!!!

J is in the Pacific Time Zone and will be in SD in less than a week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Only 3 weeks to leave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It will be just over a year since we put him on the plane that we go get him off one..........Oh, I miss that boy SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love you, sisters!!!  Maybe we will have to change our name from 818 to 800's Prayer Angels???  Then Pa and other new folks we invite in will feel right at home..........

Happy Sonday!!!!!!  Praise Him wherever you are and whatever you do!!!!

kk,  Oh wow...looks like Winter has found you again too!!   SO glad you decided not to ride...you two would have been popsicles!!    Pretty pics tho!!

We are in the midst of going through stuff & cleaning out K's room...: (  a bit emotional for me..tho we're not changing it too much, just gonna put a bigger bed in there so we could use it as a guest room.    Finding so many memories so it is taking longer than hubby would like it to....lol!

Hope your all having a good day!

Good Morning!   Well....Winter has found us once again & left a thick coating of sn** all around, it was a tricky drive home last night!!  The wind is whipping but the sun is shining so I will bundle up & go out for a MUCH NEEDED walk with hubby today!

Lydia, thanks for the review of the movie.....I am still on the fence, not sure if I will go to see it or not but it does sound like a good one!

Excellent that you are going to take more time off-you deserve it-save some time to visit G. Most excellent that you are going to stop and see me on the way there and pa on the way back. Excellent that you have a new ride for your trip.  Praying for you!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOw ------    Okay Act of Valor is a must see movie but you HAVE to see it on the big screen... you need the big screen to appreciate the crazy effects and just everything...    yes it was bloody but hello it is Spec Forces after all...   I bit my nails off, closed my eyes a couple of times, and cried chucked some too..   lt was an intensly partiotic movie.... God Bless our boys!

Bama - awe great update thankx...  did not know you had another preggie!  kewl!  Glad to hear that maybe you and mom will get a relationship going ...  you may have differences in one thing or another but better to mend things now while you still can.  Awesome for you and her!

Better and better, with this a Friday to boot!!!!

Got to get some medicine for my Kodi dog--he and the coyotes tangled and he got some bites (bet they did too!!!) Got the area clipped and need to get antibiotic in him, but it doesn't look too bad.........

The Goats:  Maggie Mae is getting big as a house as she is due in April. Have her almost totally dry from milking (will finish that in the next week), but you can definitely tell she is a pregger!!!  Dottie Jean is settling down more and more for the milking and that's good cause Miss Gracie Lou is going to be totally weaned this weekend!!! That will mean twice a day milking and keeping them apart for a few weeks--I think we will be safe with them together after that cause usually the doe won't let them back on.......Have to shuffle around who's where in the pens to do it, though---Gonna put Gracie Lou in with Apollo (who can't do anything to her cause he's not got the equipment--ie: no early pregnancy), then put Maggie in the pen next door where Gracie has been all the time and put Dottie on the pen one down from there. Maggie will be between the mommy and daughter. I know all that's boring, but I'm pretty sure the two of them have figured out a way to let her partially nurse through the fence!!!

And Zeus is his usual big self!!! Strutting around with his whiney cry (he sounds like a baby!!!) trying to convince everyone of what a big bad boy he is!!!

Joe is taking a rest day today---he has been at it so hard for the last week---and I'm gonna let him!!!

W is about to get a wake up call and have to start working.......

S has to work today---it's going well at Appleby's.

Now for the big news:  My brother surprised me and brought my Mother down to see me for a day on Tuesday!!!!  We have a strained relationship, mostly because she has put barriers to me coming to see her, she won't come see me, and when I do see her, there has been so much to catch up on, she feels "smothered". This visit was a really close visit to the last one though, so it went much better and she said she had fun. She might want to do it again even!!!  Wow!!!!  She doesn't even know the boys---we figured out it had been 9 years since she had seen W and J!!!  We'll see how it goes---I've wanted a relationship with her all this time...............

Praying for B in getting things straightened out!!!  I really I hope the boy who did this also gets straightened out and can save some kind of career---that's a long way to go to then get in trouble and not get to keep going.......

Go R!!!!!  Go T!!!!  Go  D!!!!!  and J and R........Still praying for all our boys!!!  Someone needs to help me with all the initials now.........I'm losing track!!!

Love ya sisters!!!  You help keep me sane!!
