Div 818 PIR 9/2

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

TGIF girls!!! Soooo happy it is Friday... although it looks like our great weather is coming to an end. Rain all day and supposed to be really windy and cold this weekend.  Oh well... it IS still winter after all!

Welcome Rmom... you have come to a great place. I wasn't orginally from this group... my son was 821, but I found Kelly :)) who's son is in SWCC with mine, and she invited me here. Well can I just say, I truly am so grateful to have these girls in my life... they are what I  like to call.. "my little circle of love"

Lydia, wow! is all I can say. I hope and pray that B can get this straightened out ASAP. This is not something he should have to be dealing with. Kids just do the stupidest things sometimes!  I feel for his mom, she must be so upset by his actions.

kk work, work my friend! You sure do work alot. I hope you are doing something fun this weekend... or at least relaxing with huggy PD for a bit.  You crack me up... "squirrels nuts"

Rox, glad you get 4 days off! We could never get sick of you :)

Kelly, what fun and exciting things are you doing this weekend? Your usually doing lots of fun things! Talked to D yesterday.

Bama, glad you and J are feeling better. Hope & pray everything works out for you, if you need to try a different job then ICU.

Well better do some work here at work, lol! Have a great day cracker jacks!

Roxanne- First, thanks for the prayers!  I am not in the pic, I didn't discover N4M until a few months ago when I was searching for info on RSS graduation.  I wish I had known about this group from the beginning.  Kind of followed things a bit until I started figuring things out and joined the RSS site.

To all the other ladies, my son was SWCC at first, then moved to PC for RSS.

Rmom, Are you in the picture above?

Comment by roxanne on February 24, 2012 at 1:33am

Rmom, Praying for R, safe travels and SERE training.  I know T will miss him in PC.  Let us know as soon as he finishes SERE, T will be right behind him, think T was just behind him from SD to PC as well. Now they are going back to SD but in a much better position and much happier.  Sorry you didn't get to meet him, he had duty while you were there.

Lydia, Wow, That is all I can say, Check your message box. Not just stupid, BAD!  How did you figure it all out?

Bama, Praying for you, hope it all works out.

Pamom, These temps are awesome, like spring.  Rain tomorrow though, at least here that is.

kelly, I am with you, why don't these guys think?

Lydia, Was he waiting to class up to FRAC?

kk, How are you?  Must be working today.

I am off for 4 days, so you will be hearing from me- you might even get sick of me.

Happy Friday All!!!

I really feel for the RSS mom---our kids can give us such broken hearts sometimes......Maybe the kid will learn and change because of this---

Had our doctor appointments all day--my two surgeons and Joe's one--we are both doing better and recovering. I've started having right leg pain at times and am concerned the Rehab doc was correct:  I might have an inguinal ligament strain. If I do, and if it doesn't get better, I will HAVE to change from ICU to something more desk driven or teaching or something along those lines. And no matter what I do, it will cost money for the additional schooling/classes/licensure/etc. Just what I don't have. The only thing is that I may get some of that through worker's comp as it was an on-the-job injury.  Have to wait and see and trust the Lord with where it's going.....

Welcome Rmom!! Have a wonderful night sisters!!!

Hi Ladies!  Wish I had known about this sight a year and a half ago!

Lydia, I finally made it over here!  So sorry to hear about all of the stressful things going on with you!  Will certainly send some prayers your way!

Roxanne, didn't get to meet T while we were there but saw your post about SD so maybe I'll meet him out there at some point. That's awesome!

My guy will be traveling to SD and heading to sere so I'll probably try to stay low for the next little bit.  Praying for safe travels and a strong will to endure :-)
