Information

Div 818 PIR 9/2

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

CKH, This has to be so hard for you and your children I can't even imagine. At least after basic he will be able to talk to everyone more. Praying for your family.
Thank you for doing all of the ribbon stuff, let me know how I can help or how much I owe you.

Oh, by the way...I read a post on the 9/2 site about the meet and greet... i posted over there and I will copy it below...Let me know if you all have any suggestions

Hi all! It has been a rather busy weekend for me and the kids. I am glad I popped in however. Great to know that the Ramada does not do too much by way of the meet and greet. Not to worry 9/2 we will have each table set up with a sign and a basket of colored ribbons for each division. It should be rather simple to find each other. I am sorry that I can not do anything about the venue, but I hope I can do a better job of organizing and making sure we know who's who. Either way, it will be nice to meet everyone face to face. :) Anyone who has any other ideas as to how they want to make the event special, please let me know. XO

Hi everyone! It sounds like it was a great Sunday for all of you!! I am so glad! Nothing new to report over here. Wish I had gotten a phone call but oh well. Finished all the travel arrangements, finally booked a rental car. We are definitely not bringing the kids to PIR and it is breaking my heart. I KNOW it is the right thing to do, I am just struggling with the decision. :( I think I have gotten to the point where I not only miss him, I miss everything about him and I am ready for this part to be over. Our daughter the last few nights has taken to telling me how much she wants her Daddy to be home and why is "Navy School"(thats what she calls BC) keeping him so long. That could pretty much be the freaking worst part of my roller coaster ride. Sorry guys, not such a good night over here. :( Tomorrow will be better, we will be one more day closer.

okay - first check your inbox about FB --- okay when the american sub got right up on the ass of the russian sub - the Chief called for quick quiet --- one sub can hear the chatter of another in sonar range as I understand it.... so quick quiet mens not a word, not a burp, fart, hiccup --- nothing but total silence so as not to give their selves away......
