As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Lydia, don't be expecting too much of that "hot and humid"--it's getting cold in FL, too!!

Roxy's was given to Jan when her "mom" died because no one else in the family was into horses. Well, Jan finally got a horse from her sister that she has wanted for years--as a Christmas present!!  Now she has him to work and she doesn't have time to work Roxy. It's been THIRTY YEARS this fall since I was on a horthey even though I rode in horse shows (timed events) while I was a teenager and used the horses rounding up the cattle. So this may get interesting!!! But I'm excited!!!  I was just thinking last month that maybe riding hortheys would help my groin muscle with the right kind of exercise to finish healing--Isn't God GREAT, He heard my thoughts and answered them!!!!  If all goes well, she said we may just be able to take her.........Yeah!!!!!

Well, 8 days from picking up W in P'cola on my way home.......

Have a great Hump-day tomorrow!!!

Trisha - not selfish..  you are a Navy mamma and want that proud moment of finding and hugging her right then and there....  I have never had that experience of course but I look at pictures and I cry just thinking about it...  I dont blame you!  Of course I can imagine how she is anxious also..  She sure loves her mamma....  of course her mamma sure loves her!

Bama - AWE I love the pictures...  Dottie is so polka dottie!!!  They are all so cute and the puppy doggie also..

brrrrrrrrr cold here but Ill be in FL soon where it is hot and humid  hahah

B man is suppose to get his gold wings THIS WEEK finally...  dont know what the hold up has been but I think they have to wait for a certain amount of all the Rates to be done...  Pilots, Swimmers etc...  I can wait to see em!

S once said something about my goats' names--Dottie Jean, Maggie Mae, Gracie Lou, Dixie Leigh--"those are such Southern names", to which Joe answered, "Well, where do you think you are?????" Hahahaha!!!!  For some strange reason, every time I think "Dottie Jean", I think of Marilyn Monroe......I know, I'm weird!!!!

Oh, kk!!!  Looks like I and going to start riding hortheys again!!!!!!!  I'm so exited!! Her name is Roxy and it's a complicated tale, but she may wind up being mine in the long run and in the short, I get to start working her!!!

Got to go to work tomorrow.......Have a great week, my Angel Warrior sisters!!!
