Div 818 PIR 9/2

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

roxanne - thank you so much! I believe in the power of prayer and a mommies prayer especially! Guess it 7:55 there now - wonder what they are doing this very minute? I have prayed since early am on Monday before the sun came up that the Lord would send special angels to him and his division and help them - after reading his Sunday letter now I see why I felt that so strongly! {{HUGS}} sister

Lydia, So glad you're feeling better. You are are absolutely right, he will get the support he needs from his RDC's, shipmates and you. It will lift him up enough to get him through the next ( what did that countdown clock say) 19 days ? hrs..He can do it. Praying he wakes up today with renewed spirit and energy. As always praying for all of you and your families.

Thankx moms - Im feeling better this morning about him. I know he respects and admires the heck out of his RDCs he has told me that. He said they are top notch - best of the best..... so I know they will bring him along. And his shipmates too. He said in one of his first letters he thought about quitting because he was scared the he said he realized being scared meant he wanted to make it badly - (thoughful kid of mine haha) sooo - after being exhausted from 4 weeks of BC - of course he is going to question himself - thats what will make him along with your men - The Best Of The Best. He does not take this lightly but very seriously. He loves this country and the Navy!

Boo Yah/Hoo Yah cheers were heard for miles when the letter carrier delivered a letter today. My son said that although the 1st half crawled at a slow pace, this 2nd half is really picking up speed. Can see light at the end of the tunnel. Lots of inspections, tests & competitions. Happy how well the div is working together. Perfect scores are being reached. Striving for the coveted Hall of Fame. Everything richsmom stated including - Big Brother is along for the ride. Good night to all my Navy sistas.

Lydia, your son is venting to you. Being with 90 Alpha males they would never admit that there is anything wrong. He has no where to vent. We have each other to vent to and us being women :) definately have any easier time telling people when we need the extra support. He was just writing what he was feeling at that moment. He trusts you enough to know that he can tell you what he is feeling and knows that you will not judge him. Big Hugs to you!!!!!

Lydia - I agree with all the sisters in this sorority of ours. Between physical ailments, exhaustion & sleep deprivation, it's a natural response to also suffer from emotional weariness. His spirit though is strong as Midas (like his mamma's) & that will shine through Battlestations & beyond. The moment he walks in PIR and feels your energy, love & support, he'll remember all the reasons he joined the best military in the world!

Lydia, Hi, how are you? Ben has been through more then most and is still hanging in there. He is so tired and stressed, He will make it. This is the hardest week ever plus the added complications. I will pray for both of you. Stay strong for both of you.
