Div 818 PIR 9/2

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

He will be so happy and so proud of himself when he gets to PIR. He will know that him more than most, sacrificed and fought to get there. I have no doubt that by the time he is a sailor he will be 100% into it again. Remember what I said last week...they are not only dealing with the physical but also the mental head games that are being played. He will come out of this stronger than ever. This is a great time to send him all the motivational, you can do this, its almost over stuff you can find. Be stong for him Lydia, he needs you, you are the one he counts on and vents to. Pick him up as I know only you can. You are awesome mamma, help him through this. I am happy to send him a kick a** card too if you want. Love to you sweetie.

Lydia I whole heartedly agree with what Shan just said. He's been through alot and had a harder time then most with his shin splints and the crud. He is a tough kid but we all have down days. Just see what happens in 20 days and maybe the next letter will be totally different. It's supposed to get easier from here. POSITIVE KARMA!!

Lydia, he could have been at a very low moment when he wrote that sleep deprivation...deleriuous...you never know...it is always subject to change...Dont read to much into it. I understand your worry though! You will find out all in 20 days and by then it could be a whole different story.

moms, his letter was dated Sun 8 - we were right about the "blank week" they are in the middle of it now..... he said that inspections were really good. This upcoming week (now) makes or breaks us.... pretty much smooth sailing after this week.....he leaves 0200 on Friday for sure.....exhausted and wants it to be over..... has one "fear" not sure he wants this with his whole heart and soul... like everyone says he must have...---------- he is waffling in his decision .... I think he is so darn exhausted that he does not up from down..... he said I want it dont get me wrong.... just not sure I want it with my whole heart and soul --- now this is a kid who is pro --- Spec Ops.... Do yall think he is just tired and stressed? Do you think when he walks through the doors to PIR he will remember why he joined????? this is a tough kid. His buddy said not to worry that he is just in a stressed down time..... :o( yalls letter are soo up --????
