Div 818 PIR 9/2

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Lydia Please just be yourself Ben wouldn't want you any other way. My son will be quite surprised though to see me. I am 5'9" and never wear heals. I'll be taller than him AND his father. But my hubby doesn't mind at all. I worry about it more than him. That's why I never wear heals. Hubby says we'll take pictures on the bleachers with me on the bottom. Ha ha ha. I just feel like putting on a dress and I'm gonna. :)

I've watched so many Navy U-Tube videos throughtout this adventure we're on with our guys. The families at PIR have been dressed in a true assortment of styles. Looks like anything goes as long as you're comfortable. CKH brought up an excellent comment regarding photos. Think I'll step up my game a bit. In addition to looking proud, I also want to look good!

Reading all these terrific Thursday comments begins my day with a smile! THANK YOU! What to wear? Well, don't want my work suits or my work uniforms. My summer down time is usually spent in cargo capris. Plenty of pockets for my phone, tissues, a few pictures & maybe even a previous letter. Sounds like my own PIR survival gear!

Wow! I can not believe that we have gotten to the point where we are discussing what to wear!!! It's getting closer, I am so excited. I think I am going to dress more on the dressy side, possibly a dress or nice dress pants and a top and of course cute shoes because I am addicted to shoes. :) I was thinking that we would do a lot of photos with my husband and I want to make sure that I am dressed nicely, standing next to him. Basically because we will most likely be emailing out the photos to everyone and their mother. :) I wanna look good! haha
