OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Information

Div 818 PIR 9/2

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Kelly59 - I totally understand. Everyone - please read my new comment on "Who has what contract" & let me know how you would like me to proceed. I'm thinking along the lines of removing all info once everyone has a chance to review it.

hiphopmob, Thank you. We were told not to put that info out there.

hiphopmob, I had sent you a request, did you receive it?

kk - You're SO right! After reading all those other comments, I should never have put a name to it. Definitely want to steer clear of that topic! I was working more off the names of various game show competition themes. Maybe, "Deal or No Deal" could refer to all the jerks that need to be shown the exit door. Positive thoughts for our good guys!

kk - thanks for the diver info. Just read through numerous interesting comments. Hopefully, this week's letters will be more informative! My son had previously reported that most of the idiots had already been dropped. Hate to think that there are still fools in Spec Ops. Since I'm on a game show kick, do we call this "Hell WeeK" - JEOPARDY?

hahaha you all crack me up. I would love to keep in touch and see how you and all of your amazing young men are doing!

On another note, I finally broke down a week or so ago and got stupid FB. :) Anyone want to connect on that as well? Send me a message I am still trying to figure it out. XO
