FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Shan there you are.... been thinking about you all day!!! hey I joined the SAR site not really saying too much just listening and observing... Okay I have a question before I have to leave here ...... 818 moms ...... are we going to stay in touch???? I have invested my heart here with yall and your men and women... can we do a site for us to stay in touch just a thought .... hubby hollering about a special on USS Ronald Regan .... signing off for a while but be back before bed .... hugs moms and wives BoooooooYaaaaaa we rock!

Hi Mom's, no mention of "hell week" here either , just that a lot of testing coming up on everything....in the upcoming week! My prayers and sending strength to all of them to rise to the top where they are meant to be and where we all want them to be, and where they deserve to be!! Hoooya!
