Information

Div 818 PIR 9/2

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Well, the fourth week as I have heard and read before from times past is called that only because of the intensity of drills and inspections - IT etc....nothing to fear - but certainly a 5 day time needing intense thoughts and prayers! This is when they can win their flags.... succeed in their I think 2nd PFA and win merits and honors.... So it is hell week - shape up or ship out week Id say....It is just a silly way of referring too it but the some of the recruits refer to it that way.... no bigggie...... no panic or anything from any of us... Im wondering how Ship 4 - Div 818 faired... Hopefully one of us will get something soon like the other ship div moms have gotten????

anyway - Im soooo glad to be here with yall and cant wait good Lord willin and the creek dont rise - to see yall on Wednesday nite the 1st!!!!

When I spoke to my husband on Saturday there was absolutely NO mention of hell week.

Lydia, My son did not even mention Hell Week to us in his letter. He did speak of all the extra IT they've been getting though. His letter was upbeat & positive about everything & just looking forward to 9/2!
