Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Good Morning Everyone! I thought I would put it out there as by the time I sit down at the computer at night almost everyone has went to bed and I usually don't have time in the morning to get on at work. I love reading all your posts! Enjoy your Tuesday!

Thanks for the support ladies! My son has a viral infection in his GI tract so basically, yuck! He should be fine in a few days and then I might sleep for a few...yea right! :) I miss talking to you guys. I hope everyone is doing well. I am constantly praying and hoping that all our guys are kicking butt. I know they are. They are strong and smart and will make it through this with flying colors. No news is good news. Well moms - Im utterly exhauted --- so Im going to try to sleep tonight - that 4:00 am alarm goes off early!! {{HUGS to Moms and our Men}} - may the Angels watch over them and what little rest they get tonight - let is be deep and sound! Ready for day 2 Hell week tomorrow!

hiphop - thats funny I was scrolling throught my friends list thinking about each one and I realized that I had not seen you in a while.... Hell week - ARG Im on constant pins and needles for them.... I did not sleep hardly at all last night! Today I just went to work and stared at the clock wondering hour to hour..... now Im pooped The phone call is awesome!

Due to traveling I'm not online as much as I'd like. Miss your positive energy! Just wanted to tell you all that last Friday my son did a favor for an RDC & in return was granted a phone call to his brother so he could wish him a happy birthdday! Made everyone's day! Now I wish I knew what was happening during HELL WEEK!

Hello Hell week.. It will be a tough week for all. I hope you ladies all keep your head up and keep our focus on the final picture. Work was tiring today. The boys had dr appts. I am going crazy with this broken mower.

Lydia. Ben will be fine he is a tough cookie
CKH - the kids will be fine.. Mom dont forget to get your rest when you can. You have to be strong for everyone.
