Information

Div 818 PIR 9/2

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Hi all! Here is some information about the Meetand Greet/PIR Ribbons.

Ok here is the list of colors that I came up with. I chose the colors for the divisions at random, I did my best to choose colors that did not represent any awareness issue. That proved to be more difficult than I thought! :)

Div 289-Midnight blue
Div 290 -Peach
Div 942-Grey
Div 291-Lime Green
Div 292 -Forest Green
Div 293 -Light Yellow
Div 294 -Dark Purple
Div 818 -Crimson
Div 296 -Baby Blue
Div 297 -Royal Blue
Div 298 -Brown
Div 295 -Olive Green
Div 299 -Mint Green
Div 300 -Dark Orange

I hope that these are ok with you. I will get the ribbons and pins and have them at the meet and greet. I will have extra ribbons for each division for those who can not make it on the 1st. I need 1 person from each division to be in charge of taking the extra ribbons to PIR. Please let me know.
Please message me if you have any questions.
Thanks

KK - Great story! Touched my heart! What a priceless necklace. Looking forward to seeing you proudly wear it!. Shan - thanks for the Facebook info. Already "liked" it. Can't wait to share it with all my family & friends when its our turn! With the competitive spirit that lives in each of our boys, the other divisions better bring on their A game!

I've just started to look at things to do and places to go in Chi town. Never been there. Anyone have any suggestions, We'll be there from 9/1 to 9/6 with or without our sailor.

Ladies I just finished telling my husband what was happening with the moms/wives and informed him that I thought there would be alot of hugging going on at the meet and greet. He actually smiled (no snarly comment) and said good we're going to have a great time. :) AND WE ARE!

Hi you!! I took the kids to see Toy Story 3 today. Our 4 year old loved it. The youngest was just amazed by the size of the screen. :)
Lydia, tonight is one of those nights I would love to sit with a glass of wine...wish you could join me! :)
