Information

Div 818 PIR 9/2

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

No letter today. :~(( Haven't booked the flights or hotel rooms yet. Nervous though since it's a holiday weekend. Maybe I'll at least secure the rooms. Hope the glitch in cyberspace repairs itself soon. I'm so dependent on the e.mail advisory updates. AWARD! Whoop-Whoop! Our Spec Ops guys are the best trained & I'm sure they're all in top physical condition. Maybe in addition to organizing the "Who is Who," we can also make a list of "who has what contract." That way we can figure out who are the divers (my son), the SEALS, air rescue, SWCC & EOD.

CKH - right lets moms not worry - Hellfire moms / wives - if they make it through boot camp in the spec ops div - they will be kicking ass no matter what and if the leave earlier than us mommies and wives want - well, so be it.... The day these menn and women of ours sign up - we did too. We are tough arse Navy Moms and we will not show any discouragement, we will not let them know we are worried - we will support them whether we get a hug and they leave or we week an entire weekend! Ben said he leaves Saturday - Swanksmom says her man is same as Ben but she said he leaves Friday early - Im there till Sunday !!! So what ever they ask of our men we will stand by them and our Great Navy! Oh and btw - Ben said he respects the hell out of the 818 RDCs so.... moms - hang in there and breath (im preaching to my self too believe me) yall have seen me on here crying!

Our boys are now men - they will cope and as they are already the best of the best - they will adapt to their situations.... BOOOFREEKINYAAA moms they rock we rock!!

I agree Lydia, but he told me to contact his other 3 ppl on the list and let them know that he will not be able to spend more than an hour with all of us. I am going to have to call Southwest Airlines and see what the penalties are for returning on the next day if there is even a flight available. I was counting on spending four days with him.

Shan - you are not alone - no one else is either.... prob a glitch in the system.... how are you how was the move are you back with us not!!!!!! Hold on Shan - yes in the military (hubby is Nam Vet and we are in the system) it is sometimes last minute, sometimes crazy changes which make no sense - but they quite often work out for the better. Lets wait and see exactly what happens and we will have faith in you son that even if they pull them out quickly he will be strong, steady and will be fine.... Trust me according to Ben - they are getting peek perfom in this 818 div - as the are different than the other divs.... however, do let us know what you find out but hold on and have faith in him--- from what you have said about him - that young man of yours is top notch - dont let him know you are worried - let him know you are confindent in him and his Navy......
